Erica Nelson-Sheehan and Dustin Nelson, cousins and business partners, opened their accessories boutique, hitchcock Madrona, six years ago in the quiet and charming Seattle neighborhood of Madrona.  They feature handpicked, local, national and international jewelry and accessory artists, focusing on one-of-a-kind pieces. Erica and Dustin also design the boutique’s private collection, hitchcock Jewelry, which includes scarves, bags, and jewelry for men and women.

The gracious duo is welcoming and relaxed, assisting clients in choosing accessories that speak to them, or encouraging clients to stretch their fashion imagination by trying something new and statement-making.

hitchcock Madrona is known for its creative interior, which undergoes a radical and conceptual metamorphosis throughout the year. The boutique reflects Dustin and Erica’s whimsy as well as passion for art and design.  Past themes have included: Nordic Warmth, The Stag & The Raven, Gothic Luxe, Conservatory, Gauguin, Candy Shop, Mid-Century Modern, Preppy Wonderland, Horse Beautiful, Victorian Mansion, NASA Administrative Office, Soho Gallery, and its present incarnation, Lewis Carroll.

Dustin studied interior design and was the visual coordinator for Etro, the luxurious and avant-garde Italian fashion and textile house. He has also worked for Hermes, Prada, and Barneys New York. Erica has an economics degree and an entrepreneurial spirit however, she is most passionate about working with their clients one-on-one.  She especially loves creating custom designs for life’s big events: engagement rings, wedding bands, anniversary bands.  The pair design accessories with an artful eye and fearless talent for combining diverse elements to create bespoke and one-of-a-kind adornments.
